The co-founders have their individual loves - Su-Mari loves great food, while Tim loves great experiences. Bringing these together, brings a quality experience. They wanted to bring luxury, quality products and experiences into all that they do.

iLola's Origin Story
Their journey Started with tea.

The founders of iLola, Su-Mari and Tim Hill, started their journey in a little tea shop on the Sunshine Coast, in Canada. Hand blending organic loose leaf tea helped them fall in love with tea and connected them with the tea loving community.
They found that so many of their customers who enjoyed and appreciated the loose leaf tea culture, would ask the same question - how much tea do they need to add at home? They realized that this was a step that intimidated many people who wanted to enjoy loose leaf tea at home.
So they went on a journey to solve this problem, and created the Tea Disc. They developed a proprietary technique to create the Tea Disc, carefully selecting only the highest quality ingredients, and including a proprietary blend of probiotics to help in the formulation.
They work together on the business as a family, having 5 small children they have survived many sleepless nights, and attribute their survival to the support of the community they have surrounded themselves with.
