The Potlatch Series is Valerie's (soap maker) trademark artisan soap.
Within the Haida culture there are two main clans: Ravens and Eagles and are identified by their original village. Valerie's (soap maker) family is of the Raven Clan and descendants of the now deserted Village of Skedans – an Enesco heritage site located on Haida Gwaii. This is a nod to her heritage and all who came before her. Scented with Anise + Lavender to soothe hard working hands.

A Potlatch is a sacred ceremony typically held by the Cheif, it involves the giving away of possessions to show the rebuilding of the Cheif; Potlatches are also focused on the reaffirmation of family, clan, and international connections, and the human connection with the supernatural world.
